Carlos Tevez has Announced tha this future to Boca Juniors after being linked with a return to European football. The ex-Juventus, Manchester City and Manchester United forward was reportedly considering an exit from the Bombonera, with Napoli and Chelsea rumoured to be interested. But after a three-day leave period from the club following Copa Libertadores elimination, Tevez affirmed that he was not thinking of abandoning his boyhood club. "Of course I am staying at Boca. Everything else that is being said are just rumours," he told reporters in Monday's press conference. "It is almost always the case in Boca that if you miss out on an objective a whole soap opera is staged and we are used to it, but I see myself at Boca for a long time yet.
"I am going to stay at Boca even if Napoli and Chelsea come knocking."Tevez had spent his time away playing golf in Uruguay, but he joked that he will not be switching careers any time soon. "I signed for three years and I had no doubts over what I signed and over the love I have for this shirt," he said. "Actually I think I won't carry on, I am going to take up professional golf. That's a joke, by the way!" Tevez won the Primera Division and Copa Argentina titles during his first six months back at Boca, but the club finished empty-handed during the transitional championship at the start of 2016 and went out of the Libertadores at the semi-final stage to Ecuador's Independiente del Valle.
