Arsenal have 'no chance' against Bayern Munich - Breitner

Former Bayern Munich midfielder Paul Breitner believes Arsenal have "no chance" of victory in the Champions League last-16 tie.The former Germany international believes the Gunners will not prevent Pep Guardiola's side from marching towards a second-successive Champions League title.

The Bavarian giants beat Arsene Wenger's side at the same stage of the competition last year and the former Bayern and Germany star believes the outcome will be much the same ahead of the first leg at the Emirates on Wednesday. "We want to win, we want to repeat the victory of last season. We want to win the Champions League again and Arsenal will have no chance." Breitner went on to suggest that the Bundesliga champions could well make history this year by becoming the first team to win the Champions League in consecutive seasons.

Eden Hazard has dismissed speculation linking him with French champions Paris Saint-Germain and says he is solely focused on Chelsea. The Belgian says he has no desire to leave Stamford Bridge, while he also played down the Blues' chances of winning the Champions League and praised boss Jose Mourinho. Odemwingie scores debut goal for Stoke City

Nigeria’s Peter Odemwingie was on target for Stoke City as they played out a 2-2 away with Southampton on Saturday afternoon at St Mary’s Stadium.The former Cardiff City star got his first goal for the Potters as they shared points with Southampton away in the English Premier League.The striker who made a winning start for the Potters in their 2-1 defeat of Manchester United in their last outing got his side's first goal in the 38th minute after Rickie Lambert had put the hosts ahead in the 6th minute of the encounter.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Cristiano Ronaldo were involved in an amusing Twitter exchange on Wednesday following a birthday message sent by the Swede to the Portuguese on the social networking site. The Sweden striker pledged to send the Portuguese one of his personalised jerseys as a birthday present, provoking an amusing riposte from the Real Madrid man.
